We trained +300 vulnerable people through two training cycles. In the first cycle, +200 participants acquired tools related to the repair of household appliances and business management skills (380 hours). Then, a group of 100 people, mainly comprised of women, acquired sales skills (48 hours).

As a result of the training sessions, the following units were formed:
• 4 Productive Units making up the first technical repair service designed from a triple impact perspective.
• 6 Sales Units that make up a commercialization network seeking to boost neighborhood economies.

We donate faulty or unused products to be repaired, which otherwise would have been sent for scrap, to the Tzedaká Foundation. The Foundation distributes them among the Productive Units located in Greater Buenos Aires.

The Productive Units repair the products that then go through a rigorous cycle of audits and tests which guarantee their functions and components.
We have managed to repair +40,000 electronic products, achieve a recovery rate of 53% and send 100% of the scrap to Cooperativa Bella Flor for recycling.

The products are marketed in the neighborhoods by the 6 Sales Units, thus stimulating neighborhood economies, promoting self-employment and contributing to the reduction of the gender gap.
Nationally, the products are marketed through www.ElectroSolidario.com.ar: the first Marketplace of 100% refurbished products that provides a new opportunity for people, products and the planet.

Through this new way of shopping, more and more people can access quality appliances at a lower cost, and at the same time, become part of the circular economy cycle. +12,000 consumers have already chosen to be part of Newsan IN.
